Angela P. Murillo completed her doctorate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a research focus of scientific data management, sharing, and reuse, in the context of newly developed cyberinfrastructures. She previously worked at Novozymes, a biotechnology company as a Research and Development Information Scientist.

Ayoung Yoon is an Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing (IUPUI), Department of Library and Information Science. She was also a RDA/US data share fellow for 2016-2017. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and MIS from the University of Michigan. Her research areas include data curation, digital preservation, and data sharing/reuse.
Francesco Cafaro is an assistant professor in the Department of Human-Centered Computing. His work focuses on the use of tangible and full-body interaction in support of STEM informal learning and cultural heritage. He investigates how theories from learning, cognitive, and computer sciences can provide the scaffolding for the design of intuitive, embodied interactions.
Dr. Jingwen Yan is an Assistant Professor of Bioinformatics at IUPUI. Her research focuses on machine learning and particularly its applications in identifying brain imaging genetic associations. Particularly, she is interested in structured sparse learning where the prior biological knowledge can be incorporated for discovery of interpretable biomarkers. She recently extended her interest to integrative systems biology to bridge the knowledge gap between imaging and genetics.

Khairi Reda is an Assitant Professor of Human-Centered Computing. He designs, develops, and evaluates perceptual data interfaces to help people see and interact with data. His research aims to uncover technological and human factors that shape people's ability to consume and make sense of digital information. He is particularly interested in the application of data visualization to catalyze scientific discovery.

Kyle is an assistant professor in the Department of Library and Information Science in the School of Informatics and Computing. His research agenda focuses on information ethics and policy issues related to mining student-related data and information in the context of higher education, usually under the banner of "learning analytics" initiatives.

Saptarshi's research interests are in teaching-learning infrastructures, EHR systems, mobile health information systems, health information interoperability, and information infrastructures. He has worked as a consultant to ministries of health on behalf of the World Health Organization (WHO) in South-East Asia Region for the implementation of Health IS in countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and North Korea.
Sunandan Chakraborty got his PhD from New York University's Computer Science department in 2015. Prior to joining IUPUI, Sunandan was a Moore-Sloan Post-doctoral Researcher at the Center for Data Science of NYU. His research interests are in information extraction, text analytics, data mining and computation for development.
